چکیده

Background: Goat milk kefir is a functional food with numerous health benefits, including blood sugar control, cholesterol reduction, and improved digestive health. This study aims to determine the effect of consumption on glucose levels in hyperglycaemic mice (Mus musculus) without affecting another chemistry. compared goat products other processed considered be capable controlling reducing levels. Objective:This aimed compare levels. Methods: Twenty-one mice, as experimental animals, were induced for 21 days high-fat high fructose diet increase After induction, divided into 3 groups according treatment, namely oral administration additional distilled water (placebo), diabetasol® (positive control), goat's each group consisting 9 individuals. Results: Treatment showed significant β-ketone level. Diabetasol® supplemented had lower level than control (p < 0.05) (p< 0.05). Meanwhile, hematocrit hemoglobin did not show differences between treatments. Conclusion: The results suggested that has preclinical potential an antihyperglycemic chemistry profiles. Keywords: Antihyperglycemic, sugar,

Antimutagenic and antioxidant properties of milk-kefir and soymilk-kefir.

This study was aimed at evaluating the antimutagenic and antioxidant properties of milk-kefir and soymilk-kefir. Such antimutagenic activity was determined by means of the Salmonella mutagenicity assay, whereas the antioxidant properties of kefir were evaluated by assessing the 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical-scavenging activity, lipid peroxidation inhibition activity, ferrous ion ...
